I use this monitor mainly for 3D modeling and painting work. The colors are decent except for the anti-glare screen which looks like a noise filter over the whole monitor. It makes it look constantly dirty. The way the corners have color shifting is quite disappointing too.

Probably the best monitor of this type and size on the market for the money. If you need a pro-grade monitor but can't quite afford an Eizo, this is your best bet.

I was in between a rock and a hard place. I needed a good monitor for image retouching but I could not afford an Eizo or LaCie. The lp2475w calibrated perfectly with my spider2pro and its overall quality has made me very happy. This monitor fit the bill perfectly for those who want a nice monitor yet can't afford a "pro" model. Oh yeah the monitors resolution is actually 1920x1200 there are some more comprehensive reviews online that will help you get to know it better before buying. I would suggest you read them.
The cheapest delivery option got this monitor to me in two days.
