I really like them, espicially compared to the speakers they replaced. I use them mainly for movies and TV shows. They dont have terribly low bass response but its hard to tell because of my powered 12 inch sub. These are a great addition to my livining room and everyone thats heard them in my house really likes them. I'd buy another set if I had a use for them. Grade A for Sony and Grade A to Compsource for the [$] price.

The speakers look amazing and will be amazing for my projection home theater setup. They probably don't have as much bass as a solo powered subwoofer, but I purposely didn't want that. Living in a townhouse I wanted enough bass to be livable but not earth rattling and annoying the neighbors. I was on a severe budget for my setup so I thought a pair of towers if I can only afford one pair of speakers for right now are my best best. I feel these speakers are on par with Polk monitor 50's if not better and half the price of the Polk's. I've done alot of searching for speakers and it breaks down like this. These aren't a big flashy name dedicated speaker company like BIC, or Polk. But they have good build quality, they're not plastic cased, and they have great sensitivity at 89db. They are a steal for the price if you're on a limited budget for speakers or home theater.[...]Cheapest price for these online[...] So impressed! I think I'm going to order another set of these speakers in the near future to use for surrounds and I'll be using Compsource when I do!

Bottom line, you can not find a better pair of speakers for this price. I use them for my home theater setup and for listening to music. I would recommend using a powered subwoofer to help reinforce the low end. The speakers sound pretty smooth and blended and have a good dispersion.

These speakers are used as the front (L&R) of a 5/1 surround system. They would also be great if used in stero mode or with a sub woofer.
The delivery was on time (after product received from back order). Was very satisfied.

These speakers are definitely better than anticipated. They put out a decent amount of bass and the clarity is fantastic. These are not speakers for a true audiophile but they get the job done and done well without destroying your wallet.

This set of speakers has just floored me. WOW, they sound great. I moved on from an expensive set that did not fit my new house. I needed something affordable. These are that and more. They look great, sound great, easy on the pocket. Perfect fit. Love'm!!!!
