First, this is a great phone system. TIP: It would have been nice if the directions had explained how to add this additional phone to the base station. Apparently, you have to hold the page button down on the base for five full seconds until the lights start blinking, then press the button on the handset to register it. After much frustration, I had to call Philips to be filled in on this trick. These instructions are NOT included the instruction booklet. So, if you do not remember this tip you will not be able to register the unit with the base station and it will not work.That said, the whole system works flawlessly. It works so good and with such clear reception that I cut my land-line and I now save tons of money. I have a lot of international friends and they all use Skype as well so the calls are all free. I also signed up for unlimited long distance calls (USA & Canada) for only [$]/year. You will love this phone… Gauranteed.

I love this phone. Sometimes does not ring through Skype, though I suspect this is a Skype issue with CallIn. Speakerphone echos unless you have it set on volume 3 (of 5) or less.
